Artist Statement I was heading home in the early evening after a thunderous autumn storm and needed to cross the arroyo. The powerful rush of water flooded the dry riverbed, and was illuminated by the setting sun, revealing the sudden unstoppable flow. i was reminded of the raw emotional force within us.
