Autumnal Haiku

This series reflects the beauty of Autumn in Northern New Mexico.  The landscape blazes with color – the bright yellow of chamisa spilling out of the arroyos, golden aspens dancing on the hillsides, pale moon high in the morning sky, fiery orange pumpkins in the garden, snow on the peaks. Autumn brings us the smoky incense of pinon and roasting chile,  plump plums filling the orchards, and wine-red ristras hanging from the vigas. These sights inspire collage imagery, and poetry.  Embedded in the collage is a haiku, unique to each image.

Images are cropped sections. Names link to detail pages with full images and additional information for each collage.
