Artist Statement While watching a delightful presentation of Midsummer's Night Dream, I contemplated Titania's plight. So many of us, I think, can be charmed and infatuated with someone who is really an ass, until we wake up, of course! This scene imagines Titania and Bottom in the throes of the enchantment.
